Upload a manuscript.
Get an audiobook you own.
We find your chapters, you confirm them, and we narrate the book. What you get back are files — an M4B and the chapter MP3s — that you can sell on Kobo, Spotify, Findaway, Patreon, or your own store. No exclusivity, no store that keeps them.
Signing up grants 200 credits — about 100,000 characters of manuscript, or ~1.8 hours of finished audio. No card required to start.

Hear your own book, free.
Voice previews are free and unmetered: upload a manuscript, pick any chapter, pick any narration voice, and listen. Nothing is charged until you confirm a quote for the whole book — so you can hear your own writing in the voice you are considering before you spend anything.
Preview your book freeFree chapter preview
We have not posted a narrated sample here yet, and we are not going to illustrate one with a customer's unpublished book. What you can do today is better: preview your chapter, in the voice you are actually considering, for free.
The process
How it works
Upload the manuscript
EPUB, DOCX or PDF — whatever you already have. Nothing is charged, and nothing is published.
We find the chapters
Your file is split into chapters automatically, with front matter and odd splits flagged so you know where to look.
You confirm the split
Rename, merge, split or drop a chapter until the table of contents is the one you meant. Everything autosaves.
Hear a voice, free
Preview any chapter in any narration voice before you decide. Previews are unmetered — they cost you nothing.
See the exact price
2 credits per 1,000 characters, computed from your real character count. It is a quote, not an estimate, and nothing is charged until you confirm it.
Get files you own
An M4B with chapter markers and the individual chapter MP3s. No exclusivity, no store lock-in — sell them wherever you like.
A book is not instant. Narrating a full-length manuscript takes a while — a long novel is hours of audio, and it is produced chapter by chapter. Rendering runs in the background, so you can close the tab and come back; your library shows where each book is. Credits are debited when you confirm the quote and refunded in full if a render fails on our side.
Where we actually are. Uploading, chapter detection, the review screen, cover art and free voice previews are live and you can use them right now. Confirming a quote from that screen, and downloading the finished files, are not wired up yet — until they are, we render and send a finished book by hand rather than leave you pressing a button that does nothing. The full list of gaps is on the instructions page.
Why this and not free
You keep the files
Amazon will narrate a Kindle book for nothing, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. The catch is what you get: the audio lives inside their store, sells only there, and needs an existing Kindle title before you can start. We are the other trade — you pay for the render, and the audiobook comes back to you as files nobody else controls.
The files are yours
You receive an M4B with chapter markers and every chapter as its own MP3. Not a stream, not a licence to listen — the actual files.
Sell them anywhere
Kobo, Spotify, Findaway, Patreon, your own store, a bundle with the ebook. We take no cut of a sale and claim no exclusivity.
Your manuscript is not training data
Your text is narrated and nothing else. It is stored privately, it is never listed or indexed by us, and it never trains a model.
Pricing
Buy credits. Spend them when you publish.
No subscription, no seats, nothing metered after the fact. Credits do not expire, and your book's cost is exact, not estimated: 2 credits per 1,000 characters of your manuscript, computed from the real character count before any audio is rendered — you see the true price, not a guess, before you confirm.

What a book costs
- A short book (50,000 characters)$2.38100 credits (~$3.00) at retail
- A typical novel (250,000 characters)$11.90500 credits (~$15.00) at retail

These are examples, not fixed tiers — your quote is computed from your manuscript's actual character count, shown before you confirm. Bold figures are at the best pack rate ($0.02/credit); the line beneath each is the retail quote you'd see without a pack. Smaller packs cost more per credit — the exact figure is on each card above.
On the roadmap
Narrate it in your own voice
Some authors want to narrate their own book and cannot face forty hours in a booth. We are building for that: record a minute of yourself reading, and the book gets narrated in a clone of your voice. The recorder and the consent capture are already in the app, and cloned voices are private to your account.
Not available for book rendering yet. Books are narrated with our stock voices today. Do not buy credits expecting to render in a cloned voice — when it ships, it will be announced, not assumed.

Your consent recording and raw samples are stored privately and are never public.
Hear your book before you pay for it
New accounts get 200 credits — about 100,000 characters of manuscript. Chapter previews are free on top of that, so you can listen before you spend anything.
